TiN

µ-TiN

Ultra-Fine and High-Density TiN Coatings

"µ-TiN" is our specially designed titanium all-around coating, characterized by its higher hardness and lower coefficient of friction compared to the standard TiN coating.

µ-TiN delivers superior performance in forming processes, plastic molding, and enhanced demolding of injection molds. Thanks to its high density, µ-TiN can perform better with lower thickness than its counterparts, making it suitable for microtools where low surface roughness and high precision play a vital role. The smooth and glossy appearance is due to a lower macroparticle distribution on the coating surface.

The gold-like appearance also makes it ideal for decorative applications. The µ-TiN layer is achieved through our patented advanced technology, utilizing innovative gas control to produce outstanding coating properties. Indocoat is the first coating service company in Indonesia to implement this technology, and field results have shown that this coating has better overall performance.
